Your footage is processed in the cloud solely to generate your recap, and is automatically deleted after a retention period. It is never used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy.
While you are on a paid plan, recap videos are planned to be kept in the cloud for three years (90 days for free use and after cancelling the monthly plan). You can also save recaps to your device, where they remain after cloud retention ends. Your original footage is automatically deleted after processing.
It depends on how much you record, but expect a few GB. We recommend uploading over Wi-Fi.
The AI distinguishes practice swings from real ones. Pre-shot practice swings are kept as part of the shot's natural flow.
No — Playback18 is dedicated to reliving your round on video. It works great alongside your favorite scoring app.
Yes — you sign in with your Google account or Apple ID, so there is no new password to create. Signing in is what lets you watch your recaps across devices and keep your purchases.
